Our goal
We work so that the OFICIA website and app meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
They are the reference of the European standard EN 301 549.
Where we are now
The website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA: it meets most of it, with the limitations listed below.
This statement is based on a review by our own team. No outside company has audited it yet.
What we have done
- Everything works with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are.
- Every page starts with a “Skip to content” link.
- Text has the contrast the guidelines ask for: at least 4.5 to 1, or 3 to 1 for large headings.
- On the website, buttons and menu links are at least 44 × 44 pixels, so they are easy to tap.
- If your system asks for reduced motion, the website turns its animations off.
- Colour is never the only clue: states are also given in words.
- Every form field has its label, and errors are explained in words.
- Images have alternative text. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
- Every page states its language, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- The website adapts to any screen width and to larger text.
Known limitations
- The legal texts are not in Catalan yet. We show them in Spanish.
- The 3D view of your team, in the app, works with a keyboard but is mostly visual. The list view shows the same and is easier with a screen reader.
- The app’s daily usage chart is described in text, but it doesn’t have a matching table yet.
- In the app, some buttons are smaller: they are 36 pixels high.
We are working to fix them.
